My name is ED, and I'm 53 years old and have been around fishing boats my whole life. I've owned and operated numerous brands and models.  Back in 1999, I purchased my first catamaran.  I quickly began to realize then the advantages of these twin hull vessels which had more room, better fuel economy, and much more stability especially when anchored.  I vowed after 3 or 4 years of running to the Bahamas not to ever buy a mono hull again.  The few disadvantages to the cat I owned back then (which I lived with for a while) was speed, compartment storage, and looks.
